Wednesday Ramblings

Random Thought 1:

Spring is in the air!  I am loving the warm weather.

But, tornadoes in February?!  That's just unheard of in the Bluegrass state.  

Unfortunately, it happened here today, to a small town not far from where I grew up.  My heart hurts for them.

Random Thought 2:

My darling Hubby bought me "The Vow" last night.  I am super excited to start reading it!  

Have I mentioned lately how much I love him?

Random Thought 3:

I'm seriously considering deleting my Facebook account.  I have wayyyy too much social media in my life right now!  Facebook is beginning to take away from the time I should be spending in the Word and from time I should be devoting to Hubby.  

What do you all think of Facebook? 

Random Thought 4:

Speaking of Hubby...he conducted Bible study service at our church tonight.  I am so proud of him and the Godly way that he leads our family.  

His religious background is so different from mine (but that's another post for another day), so it makes me extra proud to see how far he's come.

Random Thought 5:

Our local Farmer's Market opens for the season on April 7th and I could not be any more ready!  The fruits and veggies that I canned last summer are running on short supply!  I am ready for some summer canning sessions...brings out my inner hippie.  

And, I totally could have been a hippie in the 60's.  But I would have been a conservative hippie.  Is that an oxymoron?  Probably so.

Welcome To My Crazy Life

What to write for my very first blog post....hmm....


An introduction, maybe?  A glimpse into this crazy, beautiful, wonderful life I'm living?


M'kay...this is us, Hubby and me:

Aren't we sweet?  I heart him.  I heart black and white photos too. *sigh*


He's just too cute.  OK, on to other things.  


This is my sweet fur baby.  His name's Jasper:

It's a little blurry, but you get the jist.  He's spoiled.  But we love him.


And these...these are the four most beautiful blessings I've ever received. My nieces and nephews:

Are they not the.most.precious kids EVAH?  Yep, I think so too.  They are so much fun and I love them tons!  My sister's a wonderful Mommy and being an auntie to these four is amazing.


So, that's us.  Hubby and I both work full-time.  We enjoy each other, visit the kids as often as we can, and strive daily to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to our Father.


I'm totally excited about getting this blog started, if only to have a place to reflect on our memories.  Our life is sometimes crazy, sometimes wonderful and beautiful, occasionally stressful, but always blessed.  This is where you can join us in our journey, through the good times and the bad, as we continuously praise God for His grace.
